Stuffed with Love Gallery
The Women Survivors Alliance believes in the power of stories to affect the world. It’s their mission. It’s also about carrying the mission of others forward.
Stuffed with Love was founded by WSA Volunteer, Jenifer Niederwerfer, who after a breast cancer diagnosis in 2012, was inspired by a fellow survivor’s story who, while undergoing treatments herself, began delivering Christmas stockings stuffed with goodies, books, inspirational materials and Christmas joy to fellow patients in chemotherapy units in hospitals around in the Nashville area.
In 2018, the Women Survivors Alliance and the Stuffed with Love Project formed a partnership to expand the reach of this beautiful project throughout Tennessee and eventually throughout the southeast. What started out as a simple project of twenty (20) stockings has grown to 589 stockings, delivering to nine (9) hospitals across the Middle Tennessee area. And, we have more to do!
WSA’s Stuffed with Love project begins in July 1 every year and ends on December 24th. Volunteers, drivers, supporters, financial and product donors are asked to contact the Women Survivors Alliance to ask how they can support these inspirational gifts for cancer patients. You can also financially support this incredible mission by donating to the WSA. Your monies are tax-deductible.
