As a caregiver one takes on many responsibilities. Being a caregiver takes great strength of character, facing many challenges and is a difficult emotional and physical role. But, one must not forget to pay mind to their own well-being while faced with this task. In a special session for caregivers, Joanne Hampton, a breast cancer survivor at the age of 33, will discuss how important it is to preserve oneself while helping another during their cancer journey.
